Incorrect birthday or gender listed in the Yahoo account

The "Personal information" section shows details about your account, such as your name, nickname, date of birth and gender. Check the following if you have noticed that your date of birth or gender is listed incorrectly.

The date of birth is incorrect

For security reasons, it is not possible to update or change the date of birth contained in your Yahoo account, even if you entered it incorrectly the first time you registered it. You must open a new account if you want your account to reflect your accurate information.

Incorrect gender listed

Log in and access your account information page.
In the upper right, click Edit.
In the "Gender" field, update your information.
In the upper right, click Done.
