Google photos are not backing up

If your photos and videos do not sync with your Google account, verify your backup status: - 

Check your backup status

  1. On your Android, iphone or tablet, open the Google Photos application.
  2. On top:
  • If you see a number: it means that there are still many photos that have not been backed up.
  • The backup is complete: if you see Upload full Backup complete.
  • "Waiting for connection": Change your settings or connect to a Wi-Fi or mobile network.
  • Backup is disabled: if you see Backup and synchronization is disabled Backup and synchronization are disabled. Touch to activate the backup.
  • "A photo or video was omitted": a photo or video is not being uploaded because it does not meet our requirements:
  • The photos cannot exceed 75MB or 100 megapixels
  • The videos cannot exceed 10GB
