Google photos are not backing up
If your photos and videos do not sync with your Google account, verify your backup status: -
Check your backup status
- On your Android, iphone or tablet, open the Google Photos application.
- On top:
- If you see a number: it means that there are still many photos that have not been backed up.
- The backup is complete: if you see Upload full Backup complete.
- "Waiting for connection": Change your settings or connect to a Wi-Fi or mobile network.
- Backup is disabled: if you see Backup and synchronization is disabled Backup and synchronization are disabled. Touch to activate the backup.
- "A photo or video was omitted": a photo or video is not being uploaded because it does not meet our requirements:
- The photos cannot exceed 75MB or 100 megapixels
- The videos cannot exceed 10GB
