First of all, what is Snapchat? For those of you who have not yet tried it, Snapchat is a social platform where photos, or snapshots, disappear after they are seen and the photos that are added to My Story disappear after 24 hours. We have a great article on the use of Snapchat on which I worked; Check it out if you want more information. Part of the appeal of using Snapchat for many people is the feeling that they can have a private conversation that is not recorded. Sometimes, however, you can decide that you like a click and you want to keep it. You will begin to ask yourself: “How can I save Snapchat photos? Is there a Snapchat download?” It is possible to save; Here’s how to save Snapchats on your iPhone.
Think twice if the person you are testing would agree to keep a Snap that they sent you under the assumption that it would disappear after seeing it. You can save other people’s Snapchat photos before they disappear by taking a screenshot, but the person will receive a notification that they did.
There are two ways to save a picture you took from Snapchat. The method you use depends on your configuration. In Snapchat, you can choose to save the images in your Memories in the Snapchat application or in your camera’s Rollo in the Photos application of your iPhone. Let’s see how to change this configuration first. If you choose to save Snapchat photos on your Camera Roll, it’s a quick touch to save a photo. If you choose to save Snapchat photos in your Memories, you must enter your Memories to save the photo in your Photos application on iPhone. You can also choose to save a photo in both your Memories and the Camera Roll.
· Open the Snapchat application.
· Touch your profile icon in the upper left corner to open your profile.
· Touch the gear icon in the upper right corner to open Settings.
· Tap Memories.
· Touch the Save button.
· Touch Camera Roll to save your Snapchat photos on your Camera Roll.
· Touch Memories to Camera Roll to save your Snapchat photos in both places.
If you are going to store many photos on your Snapchat Camera Roll, I recommend selecting Camera Roll or Memories & Camera Roll. The process to save a photo is much faster when one of those two settings is active.
· Use the information above to select Camera Roll or Memories & Camera Roll in the Snapchat settings.
· Now, navigate to the camera view (start screen on Snapchat) and take your picture.
· Touch the save icon in the bottom left of the photo.
· A checkmark will appear when the snap is saved in Photos.
· Your photo will be saved in Camera Roll / All photos.
If you select Memories or Memories and Camera in the Snapchat settings, this will allow you to visit Memories and save photos on your iPhone. The benefit of Memories is that it collects all the Snapchat photos you save for easy access.
· Open Memories from the camera view in Snapchat by touching the photo icon below the shutter button at the bottom of the screen.
· Select the photo you want to save in Photos, then select the icon that looks like three vertical points.
· Press Export add-on.
· Press the Save image.
