YouTube is undoubtedly the king of video streaming industry. YouTube videos not playing on web browsers such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox or IE is one of the common issues. If you are one of them don’t alarm we have solutions regarding this from the very fundamental browser problem too complex technical issues.

Do check out the following issues along with their solutions:

1.    Check your internet connection

Before stepping to other factors makes sure you have a stable internet connection. Once you verify if this, not the problem then check out other solutions.

2.    Update the browser

·         It may be possible that your outdated browser version is hampering the YouTube streaming videos.

·         First of all, check out the current version of your browser and verify online whether it’s a current version or not.

·         If it’s not a current version update it.

 

3.    Clear Cache and Cookies

·         Cache and cookies can also obstruct YouTube from playing videos. You need to clear the cache and cookies.

·         Well, cache and cookies clearing varies from browser to browser. I will be mentioning steps for Google Chrome, Firefox, and IE.

For Google Chrome

1.       Open Chrome and click on three dotted dropdown icon in the upper left corner of the page.

2.      You will get more tools dropdown option, click on it and further tap on Clear browsing data.

3.      Click on Cookies and other site and plug-in data and Cached images and files checkbox.

4.      Eliminate the items from the beginning of time to remove all data.

5.      Hit on Clear browsing tab.

6.      Restart your system and play YouTube videos again.

For Firefox

1.       Open Firefox and click on three-horizontal line tab in the top right corner and further tap on History tab.

2.      Hit on Clear Recent History.

3.      Choose your preferred duration from Time range to clear. Select Details dropdown tab and ensure Cookies and Cache checkboxes are selected.

4.      Further, restart your system and play YouTube videos again.

IE (Internet Explorer or Edge)

1.       Open IE and follow the following sequence Tool icon-> Safety-> Delete browsing history.

2.      Hit on Preserve Favorites website data, Temporary Internet Files, and website files and Cookies and website data checkbox.

3.      Then click on Delete tab and restart your system and play YouTube.
