Remove security questions from your account
It is possible to delete security questions as recovery information in your account by deleting them from the Information page of your account. It is safer to add an email address or a phone number to verify and protect your account. If you have recently updated a mobile phone number or an alternative email address, your security questions may have already been deleted during the process.
You can't create new questions or edit existing ones. Your only option is to disable your current security questions. Once you have done this, you will not be able to see or create new questions.
- Go to your Yahoo Account Settings.
- Click on Account Security.
- Click Disable security questions.
- Click Yes, secure my account.
- Click on Continue.
